Bastien Taillard

Coming from a family full of decorators and designers, Bastien Taillard is very interested by materials at their evolution over time. Trained in the ENSCI les Ateliers in Paris, he graduated in 2007 with a project around eco-conception in micro architecture that was followed by François Azambourg, and a research on “wear, pre-view of an ordinary event” conducted under the guidance of the ethnologist Odile Vincent (Taste for beautiful things…)

2006 Helps staging a Hotel in Sali, Senegal
2006 Internship in Milan with Denis Santachiara, where he contributes to elaborating several pieces (Lustre Nuvola for Studio Italia and a range of utensils for Guzzini)
2007 Designs the interior of the famous hotel on Santorin Ireland
2008 Creates a new wall material in collaboration with an Indian manufacturer
Since 2007 –creates lamps & furniture for the Bleu Nature Company, where he also leads the Artistic Department
2010 Designs the interior of a hotel in San François, Guadeloupe
