Mostapha El Oulhani is a French-Moroccan designer born in 1982 in Montreuil-sous-Bois (France). He calls himself an “itinerant designer”. His dual culture helps him to combine both universes to feed the numerous projects he undertakes. He has been pursuing for over 10 years a research work on social, economic and environmental challenges that design and craftwork are raising. He considers both elements as part of a long-term evolution of our society.
Since he completed his degree in Industrial design in 2006 at ENSCI – Les Ateliers (Paris), Mostapha El Oulhani has been collaborating with major brands and prestigious design studios. In 2007, he co-founded the communication agency Widoo and started his close collaboration with the furniture brand Dar en Art.
As the winner of the Via project support, he had the opportunity to exhibit at numerous trade fairs like the furniture fairs of Paris and Milan and museums like the Centre Pompidou, the Decorative Arts museum in Paris, the Design Center Marseille Provence or the Saint-Etienne International Design Biennale.
